Hello Support,

I am not holding you up!!!
But I want to know exactly for which format which type of image will be created in this particular version SDK 10.5.

1) for Data 2) for Audio 3) for Video.

Because I have discussed this in other topics also. Even I am not having an Sample example to know where I am wrong. So just please tell me whether images of these 3 format discs will be created and if Yes of what type (ISO, MDS/MDF, CUE/BIN).

Waiting for reply. :)

I also need to know this. What is the best method for grabbing the data from a disk and then burning it back to another disk? I can't seem to find anything in StarBurn X that will burn MDS\MDF format.

Thanks!

Thanks. Is the MDS format only available for CDs because of some industry standard or is this something that would be addressed in a future version for DVD's as well. And what would be the appropriate format for creating an image of a DVD and then burning that to disk again?

Thanks again,

Michael

Hello,

1) We can not burn the .mds image to DVD/BD media;

2) You should create the .iso image of DVD disc if you plan to burn it images using the StarBurnSDK engine :)

Hello Support,

1) In the latest pre-release builds MDS/MDF image creation of Audio CD is working very well. I am able to create an image of Audio CD. That's great!!!

Even with the extended functionality for ImageBurner, I was able to burn this image on CD-R disc. That's really great with Session-At-Once mode. But I was not able to burn this image on CD-RW or DVD+/-RW. Will you please explain why it is not possible? [As per my reading, after Audio CD burning, if disc is closed means finalized then only one can play this disc in Audio Player otherwise not. Is it the reason?]

2) I am having one suggestion for this GrabDisc(...) for Audio CD, as we are able to grab different tracks with different read progress. If reading track is completed and ne track is started for reading then if an event will be raised with completed read track number and logical block of end of track then that will be very good. Because we can not come to know overall grab progress.

Thank you in advance.
