I emailed this to support 2 days ago and haven't gotten a response, so I'm posting it here if that is ok.

I can't seem to get a lot of objects working using starburnx.dll. The only objects/classes that I am able to "activate" are AudioBurner, StarBurnX, and Grabber. When I use OLE/COM Object Viewer and try to open up one of the classes to see what is happening...."Drives" for example....I get the OLE Viewer error: "CoGetClassObject failed. ClassFactory cannot supply requested class CLASS_E_CLASSNOTAVAILABLE ($80040111)". What is happening?

I'm using the latest version on XP. I have all the .Net frameworks 1-3.5.

Thanks.

We've received your e-mail, I've replied with "We've got it, cheking..." and Dima is really checking this issue ATM.

I didn't get that reply, but thank you none the less.

Also, I have a request, if it is possible without breaking everything. In the ole viewer, it doesn't make sense to me why the classes for starburn are all over the place in the class list in tree. They should all be grouped together...in my opinion...like every/most other application class/objects in the tree...so everything could be easily found and worked with/on. Maybe have a prefix in the class name, or even the full name of the dll. It would seem that the class name in the trees have nothing to do with the actual calling of the class so changing the "tree names" shouldn't affect anything, but I don't know much about that stuff...just a suggestion/request.

I await in anticipation.

Thanks.

Dima had replied to your original e-mail already. FYI. Please confirm receive. Back to your question - I'll ask him to comment here. Thanks!

Also, do XP users require KB932716 update for the burning portion to work?

We don't use any third-party code (except SPTD layer which is optional).
