Hello,
I have a full version of your SDK, when intergrates it to my application, which is a video(avi, mpg, asf, wmb) to DVD disc(vob
files) builder. Most of the burt DVD disc can not be played on
home DVD players. What I programed is turn video to vob directly.

My question is if turn video files to iso files is a must step before turn it to vob files.
Meanwhile would you please let me know if a DVD menu was required
to be put on the DVD disc as well. Currently I have not created DVD menu for the DVD disc, not sure if this mightbe the reason as well. Thanks.

Your problem is broken DVD authoring you use with your software.... What you do is sooooo far away from normal DVD-Video so it's understandable why the disc don't play. Please use something f.e. delivered from Linux DVD Author code. Should work fine.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did use Linux DVD author to create a DVD folder and I can see inside are the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder which contains .vob .ifo and .bup files. Then I burn the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders to DVD disc. But no luck. I can watch the burnt DVD disc on my comupter, but can not on DVD players.

By the way, I use the BurnDVDVideo option from the SDK.
Thanks again.
Cheers!

W/o the log it's very difficult to say what you really do. Many reasons why it still fails: no IFOs patched, no padding recorded, DVD-Video structure damaged etc.
