Hello support,

i'm new on your SDK. I want to order a license, but have some questions about it. Hope you can give me answers to my questions.

- Can i rip a Data/Audio/Video CD/DVD using 2048, 2336, 2352, 2368, 2448 sector mode?
- Can i burn Data/Audio/Video CD/DVD with 2048, 2336, 2352, 2368, 2448 sector mode?
- Does your SDK supports ISO, CueSheet and maybe CCD files for ripping/burning?
- Can i map ISO, CueSheet, CCD files using Disc Emulator without an external application?

... or maybe a subset of all?

Many thanks for your answers,
Paul

1) Yes, but physical limitations are applied. For example you cannot rip DVD with anything except 2048 byte/sector. No single tool on Earth.

2) The same as above. DVD cannot be recorded with CD-style raw burning.

3) ISO - yes, CCD - no.

4) ISO - yes, CCD - no.

1) Sure...

2) Some limitations are applied. So you can f.e. burn 2048 byte/sector ISO in 2448 RAW DAO96 but not vise versa.

3) No, we did not manage to have CUE/BIN for years :))

Anton,

many thanks for your answer. I think your SDK isn't the SDK i'm looking for, because it doesn't support de facto standard files like CUE. Maybe it is an deliberate limitation, because i see that Alcohol uses your lib? I don't know.

Anyway many thanks for your answer

In a nutshell: we don't want you to use raw CD burning.
