Hello Support,

1) I am using StarBurnX VB.NET Sample. When using the sample I got a divide by Zero.
2) One more thing in the newer build it takes almost same time in both easing methods 1) Quick 2) Full. for erasing.
So is there any solution to this problem?

Thank you.

Hello Support,
1) I am using StarBurnX, DiscEraser sample. I am erasing DVD-RW of SONY company with Max Write speed 2X with my Optiarc DVD-RW AD-7220S drive. After inserting this disc in the drive, I ran sample so I got the screen attached, where speed is not listed. [I have already re-inserted disc and then refreshed or even restarted erasing process.] As I discussed in the above post I got Divide by zero error, Here also I got the same error.
I can figure out why? As speed selected was nothing, then you tried to use speed for erase process as 0 and in some mathematical calculation it failed. [I think before erasing checking for speed will solve the problem, in this case maximum Write speed of the drive, should be the default value of erase speed. I am already doing this in my sample application, but I am getting write speed as 0.]

2) I am attaching debug logs. Because of this failing DiscEraser was not closed after this crash. Similar behavior was observed in my sample application I am developing. No Exception. Erase process continued for an hour and nothing reported. I am attaching, for the same disc the detailed information extracted by one of the softwares as "Disc Info.rar"
Thank you in advance.

Hello,

It seems source of problem - media (DVD-RW) ...

- could you notify me about manufacturer of your DVD-RW media?
- could you try run our examples with other type ( manufacturer ) of media;

Regards,

Dmitry
