Hello Support,

I am using StarBurnX Grabber class.
1) Can I create IMG/IMA image of inserted disc.
2) I am working on a sample program. I was making ISO image but by mistake I specified IMG as extension.
Surprise to me, IMG/IMA image is created and even mounted also with the dlls, I am using, that's great. I would like to use IMG format.
3) Checking whether, this burning this image onto CD, DVD.

Thank you.

File extension does not matter. If file is a bunch of 2048 byte data blocks you can call it with file.thisismylovelyextension you're in need of :)

Hello Sir,

1) I got it. IMG/IMA file is internally a bunch of 2048 byte data blocks and hence burning was possible.
2) Can I include these File types in Supported list of my application. I have seen this in other applications using your dlls. :o
3) But I googled a lot but I didn't got the exact difference between IMG file and ISO file. Will you please clarify me about this difference. :?:
4) One more question Sir, What do you mean by Image Mastering, is it Modifying existing contents of ISO Image from File System. :?

Thank you for reply.

IMG could actually belong to multiple formats so I would not do this.
