Dear Customers,

StarBurn SDK Version 4.9.1 is out. List of changes since latest public build (4.7.5):

1) More Delphi-related issues are gone. Occasional reported AVs during finalization process should be history now. Please verify your Pascal code to use latest headers.

2) CD-Text support was fixed. More compatible DAO96 CD-Text used. More burners (virtually all) should be supported from now.

3) WAV files fix. Uncompressed audio support was broken (WAV file header checking was too strict) in the previous build. Fixed.

4) FindDevice samples changed to use limited cache size size during device lookup process. Device location should be *MUCH* faster now.

5) Broken ASPI under Windows 98 (w/o Adaptec update) should work again now. Both versions are supported however we still recommend to use latest Adaptec patch under Windows 98 (not SE or Me editions).

6) USB and FireWire devices would have drive letters reported now. In previous build \??\Volume{text-goes-here} symblic links could be reported. They are also working, but were confusing users a bit. So now if drive has drive letter symbolic link -- drive letter would be reported in the first priority.

7) DVD+R DL (dual layer) support. For now a bit of experimental (we're still testing different DL media and devices) but should be working now.
