Post subject:  maximum number of drives

Hello, I'm starting to evaluate your SDK. I have some questions about the following functionality

1. Is there is a limitation on the number of attached devices?
(Let's say I've got 30 (no-named)DVD-RW that perfectly recognisible by
Alcogol 120%, but running your sample "FindDevice.exe" I've got only first 15.
2. Is there is any chance to provide VC++6/7 sample project, that
illustrate multiple CD/DVD recorders burning.

thanks,
Smel

Smel,

1) there are no such limits -- we should support as many physical devices are you have. However virtual devices do not follow some rules (addressing) we have to stick with. So there are some issues with *virtual* devices.

2) we'll consider your request providing sample of burning of single ISO image to multiple devices. Would it be OK for you?

Thank you!

"we'll consider your request providing sample of burning of single ISO image to multiple devices. Would it be OK for you?"- it could be just perfect!
Thank you,

Smel,

what programming language are you using? Should we create VC++ project for you soon and port to Delphi later or go reversed way?

Thanks!

This was your reply for the discussed topic of number of drives. So about this I was having following problems :

a) For some of the virtual drives of softwares like CloneDrive. Read Speed list is reported as 0. So for current newer Grabber class's ReadSpeed property. I am assigning maximum read speed of the drive (which is reported as 0). Hence getting problem.

I don't understand what the problem is. If you don't like what CloneCD reports for their virtual drive please contact their support. We can do nothing to solve this issue for them.

Hello Support,
Problem is, in .NET sample by using StarBurnX, I am getting a crash for this drive of software Clone Drive. [Unhandled exception] Have checked with all other samples this happen only with all .NET(C#/VB.NET) samples.
Attaching logs. Now is the problem clear to you Sir. Will you please kindly look into the problem?
NOTE: But all other softwares are able to show information of Drive. As already discussed, even StarBurn Core samples and Product also. Attaching image.
