Hi, is there a minimum volume level or track length? We tried to burn a track that was 7.4 seconds of quiet sound (max amplitude -25dB). Disc-At-Once. We got the following error message:

--
CStarBurn_StarWaveFile::RealRead():
StarWave_CompressedFileReaderObjectRead( 0x0223BAA8,

0x031F098C, 58800 ) failed, status -2147023900!!!
--

(This is just for reference, I understand you can't comment on the specific error without the log, I don't have access to the logs unforutnately).

When we changed the track to 8.4 seconds (same volume) it works fine! This error is fully consistent, so is there:
a: A minimum track length?
b: A minimum volume?
c: A combination of the above, i.e. does it ignore sound below a certain level, therefore truncating the track, which may be an issue if there is a minimum track length?

Many thanks, and thanks for a great product. Ian.

ps I was going to add the mp3 but mp3s aren't allowed to be uploaded.

Hi, thank you for report.
My answer - No for all 3 questions, minimum track length is limited to 2 seconds, but we padding very short tracks automatically.

Seems like you use old functions which stills in SDK for backward compatibility. You can see how to create audio CDs in our MSVC AudioBurner sample.

Also, if possible, please provide your code block used for burning. I'll analyse and try to help you.

Regards,
Alex.
