a user reported a very slow startup of my app.
Log file attached. Can this be prevented please?

Hello, Seems here is problems with virtual device - 'Copystar' - 'FANTOM DVDROM' ... try to disable this device and test your app again  P.s. turn off the possible antivirus spy for the StarBurn SDK log file! Regards, Dmitry |

What antivirus spy? It is likely that it starts up more quickly if the virtual device is disabled, but "All other CD burning tools (Nero, Ashampoo, ImbBurn)" do not have this speed problem. |

Hi 1) Usually .. each of antivirus apps have a spy module which test all files which have been changed so .. as the log file is updating frequently the spy app will check this file often.2) Ok, I will think about solution for this issue ... could you remind me about on the next week Best Regards, Dmitry |

Here is another sample, StarBurnX hangs if a certain disc is inserted (either st startup or later during execution).

Attached is another occurrence of this issue, but on Win7. It only occurs when an audio disc is inserted before starting the application, otherwise it works fine.

It's a special version with all traces enabled. It's surprise it just starts and actually does something. Not usable for production or re-distribution (unless asked to be installed by StarWind staff). |

You initialized StarBurnX with debugFacilities STARBURN_DEBUG_FACILITY_FILE and debugLevel STARBURN_DEBUG_HIGH_LEVEL We recommend to use STARBURN_DEBUG_FACILITY_FILE & STARBURN_DEBUG_LOW_LEVEL pair |

Yes, I do this in order to provide you with the best log possible. So is that too much for you to analyse? The issue occurs without logging enabled too (in case that wasn't obvious). |
