In my app, I am watching the WM_DEVICECHANGE message, in order to detect media change. When using the latest beta of StarBurn X v12_360_20110426 this message is being sent every few seconds as it seems. Not fun. Please fix as soon as possible. Log attached if necessary. Btw, I checked the old release from January again: The problem does not occur.

We don't send anything like this. I mean *any* Windows message. Alternatively we don't change device state pattern. Nothing is in the log as well. Anything else changed except StarBurn SDK build? |

anton (staff) wrote: Alternatively we don't change device state pattern. You did make a change regarding the Drive.State property. Remember that it has never been refreshed properly? I believe this change now causes other issues. Quote: Anything else changed except StarBurn SDK build? Absolutely no. I just switched back and forth between the StarBurn DLLs and could reproduce the issue reliably. |

Extra polling cycle inside StarBurnX is suspected. OK, we'd take a look. Thank you! |
