Hi,

if StarBurnX.Drive.State is not up to date, that is for example if the state says "removed" even though a disc is inserted, how can I refresh that property? Neither DiscInfo.Refresh() nor DriveInfo.Refresh() seems to work.

I currently have a problem because I check the drive state before checking the DiscInfo. I noticed that sometimes DiscInfo.DiscType has a valid disc type (other than none) even though no disc is inserted and Drive.State says "removed". Now however, it appears that the opposite case also happens, so that Drive.State is "removed" but a disc is actually inserted. I need to find a way to determine the real state of these properties.

Regards,
Florian

Looks like Dima has non-initialized variable here. Let me ask him to check this out. Thanks!

I'd appreciate a quick fix in this case, since I got quite a few users suffering from this problem. Thanks.

Hello, Florian

The Drive.State property detects state of the Drive dynamically! Did you test the "Drive.State" issue with the latest StarBurnX build?

Dmitry

Hello, Florian

1) Perfect!

2) Be informed that we have added the new device state - STARBURN_DRIVE_STATE_BUSY, this state will be available only for SPTD transport.

Dmitry

Hello Dima Sir,

You said,
"Be informed that we have added the new device state - STARBURN_DRIVE_STATE_BUSY, this state will be available only for SPTD transport."

But how to use SPTD transport mode?

Hello,

You should call the StarBurnX.InitializeEx function and specify SPTD transport in the second parameter.

Dima

Hello Dima Sir,

This build has a fix for the problem of getting drive.State dynamically. Thank you very much for the build.
This fix several other problems I and my user's had previously.
Thank you.

One more thing, I working on that SPTD part suggested above.
I have some questions,
1) When should I install SPTD drivers before registering StarBurnX12.dll by admin rights or after?
2) How to do silent installation(installation which does not requires reboot) of SPTD drivers?

Thank you, once again.
