Is there a reason that DiscAtOnceRawPWFromFile() is ignoring the track start address in DAO_DISC_LAYOUT.m__DAO_DISC_LAYOUT_ENTRY[].m__LONG__TrackStartingLBA? Is there something else I have to do to add pre-gaps in to audio discs instead of them all being gapless?

We always burn zero-sized pauses when burning DAO audio CDs. Track start address field is ignored.

Thanks for the fast response, as usual. Any plans on fixing this in the near future?

There's nothing to fix as nothing is broken actually. People ask for zero-sides pauses they don't ask for variable size delay. So it's by design.

Can you provide documentation for the MDS file format then? It seems that building an MDS/MDF file is the only way to burn audio discs with pre-gaps, yes?

Unfortunately MDS is closed format. You need to license it from Daemon Tools / Alcohol Software. Free of charge AFAIK.

We'll add ability to control track-to-track pause length. No time frame however.

In our previous correspondence you mentioned that you'd be adding a DiscAtOnceFromPipe function soon after the release of V13. I hope you'll include a version which allows full 2448 (i.e., including PQ / PW subchannels) data sectors? That's what I'm really after.

Also, I tried burning a disc from MDS/MDF files using SessionAtOnceRawRawPW, at it seems to have *removed* the pre-gaps from all the audio tracks. Is this also "intended" behavior, or am I doing something wrong?

Should burn raw data AS IS (if you did not enable fix subchannel option).

Well, this doesn't seem to be the case, as I explained in my e-mail message. I set IsRawSaoSubManualLeadIn to TRUE and IsAmplifyWeak to FALSE, and the tracks burned are all two seconds shorter then the tracks on the original disc.

1) Options you listed have nothing to do with subchannel repair.

2) I'm on business trip so don't read e-mails. Hope you've used support@starburnsoftware.com alias so other guys who're on duty have chance to read it.

1) Be that as it may, those are the only options present in the function call.

2) I haven't received any response, but yes, I've been e-mailing support.

I did also reply a couple of times to the e-mail (the same as used on forum registration) but w/o any success. Please check your spam settings as I do remember we'be being in touch with you some time ago using the same account you use now. Thanks!
