Post subject:  StarBurn SDK version 3.1.1 released.

New version of the StarBurn SDK is available for downloading. This new version comes with the complete Borland Delphi (6,7) headers and Sample projects. Whoever you are, the hardcore C programmer or Delphi developer you are just in one step from the complete engine to manipulate with your data using optical medias.

Rocket Division Software's StarBurn SDK (Software Development
Kit) is world most advanced CD/DVD Burning, Grabbing and
Mastering Toolkit. Very incomplete list of its features include:

* Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 support (Windows NT kernel, Windows NT "native" and Linux versions are available on request, also we do provide porting to different operating systems and non-x86
architectures as part of our customization services).

* Own ASPI layer for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 takes care of supporting
SCSI, ATAPI, Parallel port, USB (1.1 and 2.0) and FireWire (IEEE 1394)
devices. So when developing your own CD/DVD burning application you can stick with single binary that would be cross-compatible between different Windows operating systems. Our ASPI layer code is redistributable (no installation limitations, no royalty fees are required).

* Multiple CD/DVD devices can be used for burning and grabbing in the same time. No artificial limitations (well, just your CPU horsepower and amount of free RAM are reasonable limits).

* Support for hardware buffer underrun protection schemes. BURNproof,
JustLink, Power-Burn, SafeBurn, SeamlessLink etc will prevent your CD/DVD media from being spoiled with occasional hard disk activity during burn process.

* Automatic support for MMC compatible CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW and DVD-RAM burners. You do not need just sit and wait for next update to see your brand new burner working. Use it now.

* We do support "overburning" for 90 and 99 minute CD-R media. With our Disc-At-Once burning engine you can store as much data on a single CD as nobody else can. Perfect solution for backup systems. Lowest $/megabyte of data ratio.

* All known burning methods are supported. We do support Track-At-Once (oldest but goldest), Session-At-Once (maybe single chance to make 1:1 copy of the CD on some DVD burners that do not support Disc-At-Once) and super "expert" Disc-At-Once PQ and Disc-At-Once raw P-W CD burning modes. And of course DVD Disc-At-Once to deal with DVD media.

* We provide support for creating both MODE1 and MODE2/Form1 CDs.
ISO9660, ISO9660 + Joliet UNICODE name extension, UDF, ISO9660/UDF bridge (for DVD-Video and DVD-Audio) and bridge file system for VideoCDs and SuperVideoCDs are supported.

* As it's clear from the previous point we do support VideoCD and
SuperVideoCD mastering. Just point to MPEG-1/MPEG-2 file you want to burn and we'll make a lovely VideoCD or SuperVideoCD from it.

* Session import (appending already created CDs with new data) and bootable CD/DVD confirming "El Torito" bootable CD/DVD specification are also
available.

* Complete DVD-Video and DVD-Audio mastering is available. Yes, we're one from a very small list of the burning toolkits who make DVD-Video and DVD-Audio images that pass DVD-Video Verifier w/o mastering errors. This means that DVD with StarBurn toolkit would be playable in any stand-alone DVD player. Just question of does it accepts selected media or DVD format.

* Full software EDC/ECC error checking and correction engine implemented. Allowing not only proceed with Disc-At-Once burning but also allow fast bad sectors skip when grabbing damaged or copy-protected media.

* We do support 1:1 copy of single session data CDs (99% of the titles
available on the market). This includes bad sectors support (fast
skipping when creating image and making them appear back on recorded media) and "weak" sector amplifying (if your hardware do not survive after processing crazy patterns).

* We do support making backup copies of CSS protected DVDs. Either dumping whole image to the hard disk in MDS (Alcohol 120%) format with CSS keys stored inside image (if your country laws forbid to apply decryption). You can watch your movie on your PC with DVD emulation software. Or we can just remove any CSS protection at all (if your countries laws allow make backup copies of your own DVDs). You're free to burn resulting image to any recordable DVD media your stand alone DVD player accepts.

* Our unique audio decompression and compression engine allows burning of AudioCD compilations directly from compressed audio files (MP3, WMA, OGG etc). Also we allow grabbing of AudioCD compilations directly to compressed audio files. You do not need to deal with WAV intermediate buffering in both cases. Nowadays virtually any PC can handle compression and decompression operations transparently to the end-user.

Keeping in mind all of this features and our extraordinary support practice
(it's possible that we'll do all the StarBurn related programming by our own, you'll not have to waste valuable project time and teach your programmers how to use our API - we know how to do this in a best way for sure!) its virtually no way not to choose StarBurn. Solid allow of features and support make it a definite "best-buy". Also we provide unlimited evaluation period (you're free to start using our library w/o paying money and signing any papers, you can drop it any time w/o even making us knowing you were using StarBurn).
