Am I OK with these differences between media types?

Post subject:  Am I OK with these differences between media types?
I understand the basic difference between CD and DVD is CD only stores about 800MB, (audio/data), and DVD can store about 4GB (audio/data/video). And thus a CD reader can't read DVDs.

Also I understand CD/DVD R are those we use to burn at home, in contrast to CD/DVD-ROM (or only CD/DVD), that are made by companies like sony music...
And also, CD/DVD RW are those we can burn and erase for many times (maybe 1000)

There are also CD/DVD RAM, that can be burned and erased in specific portions (like a Hard disk)

But what I definitively don't know is the difference between RW,+RW,-RW and +-RW... could you explain me please? (Also correct if I am wrong on something I said above)

This is basic question and it has nothing to do with Grab&Burn itself.

Try reading www.cdrinfo.com "Articles", and it's "Forum" section has a good collection of questions and answers on this topic.
