Post subject:  BURNING DVD FROM A VIDEO ON MY COMPUTER

I loaded Star Burn and am trying to burn a video from my computer. I get so far and a message comes up referring to *.VOB,*.IFO,*.BUP. It will not go any further and I have no idea as what to do. Can anyone give me some help?

You cannot burn random content on DVD-Video disc. And that's exactly what you're trying to do.

I am attempting to burn a DVD from an operas I down loaded from my Tivo to my computer. Is this considered random?

Yes. Input data format is unknown (not recognized as valid DVD-Video).

Can you give me any idea as to how I can correct it?

You need some application (maybe VirtualDub) who'll take your MPEG4 streamed content and will convert it into set of DVD-Video files.
