I am having serious problems burning videos with Starburn. After setting starburn as an exception for enod32 I was able to get it to quickly scan. The first dual layer disc it burned was 4x instead of 8x, but seems to have succeeded. Every attempt to burn other discs gave me the following error:

SCSI Status: 0x00, CDB Length: 12, CDB Dump: 0xBF 0x00 0x00 0...

I thought maybe the problem was the disc, but I've tried other blank discs with the same effect.

I was able to burn the discs with another program, but I would like to get Starburn working correctly as it has a much more user friendly interface.

This is layer break issue. Has been fixed in the most recent versions of StarBurn / StarBurn SDK. Please stay tuned we'll provide an update in mid-July.

Thanks. I did find after a reboot, I was able to burn a second disc and then I ran into the same error again. I tried rebooting again but I still could not burn the 3rd disc. Starburn is the only program other than *** I've found that doesn't just burn coasters for two layer discs...

For now, I'll just return to using ***. But when your new update is released in July, I will try it. The main reason I want to move away from *** is I want something I can recommend to friends that is simple to use, and won't expire before they get around to trying it, after I install it for them. (The average computer user maybe burns a batch a discs just a few times a year, and then they want something that just works...)
