Does Starburn support Windows 7 64bit? I have noticed that Starburn hangs while searching for hardware. I can't use the software. I've tried to upload the log file but it says the .log extension isn't allowed.

I think I've found the problem. I think it was vso virtual drive. Removed the the drivers for the virtual drive and sunburn worked properly. I switched to magicdisc and everything seems to be working. I know sunburn has a virtual drive but i don't want to have to open the program to mount a image. Magicdisc uses less resources.

Understand. Yes, you are right it's uncomfortably for user, possible in future version we add shell extention for mount/unmount virtual drives.

Another thing is i've noticed that some discs that have data on them will make starburn hang when you click on drive properties in the program. otherwise i like the program. Another to go to a perticular operation without having to open starburn like imageburn you can just pin it to the start menu or make a shortcut on the desktop. all of the .exe files are in the install directory. Thank you for the replies. :)

Is sptd optional? or do i need it installed because at the moment i'm using windows spti and it seems to be working properly. When you run image burn in starburn it doesn't give you the option of using sptd or spti, but if you run imageburn alone from the install directory the options pop up and i use spti.

Optional. But it's really recommended to have one.
