Hi, I've got a bunch of ISO-files. Some load fine when adding them as Virtual DVD, but some not. They give the errormessage 'Installation of virtual device failed' where-as they in Daemontools load fine. I noted also that nrg-files (renamed to ISO) don't work either. What can be the problem? |

Biggest problem - NRGs are not ISOs. And you cannot just rename them. Which ISOs work and which don't? Exactly? DikkieDick wrote: Hi,

Which ISOs work and which don't? Exactly? Well too much to mention but I do remember that in the past I sometimes renamed nrg's to iso to get them recognized by Daemon Tools and that works actually. In that case not a big issue, was just wondering why they caused errors in Starburn. Thanx for clarifying. |

Daemon Tools don't care about extension. They have own NGR header parser and also native NRG support. We - don't. DikkieDick wrote: anton (staff) wrote: Biggest problem - NRGs are not ISOs.
