Below is the description of the SDK:

We do support making backup copies of CSS protected DVDs. Either dumping whole image to the hard disk in MDS (Alcohol 120%) format with CSS keys stored inside image (if your country laws forbid to apply decryption). You can watch your movie on your PC with DVD emulation software. Or we can just remove any CSS protection at all (if your countries laws allow make backup copies of your own DVDs). You're free to burn resulting image to any recordable DVD media your stand alone DVD player accepts.

I have a question:

Can the SDK transcode the DVD movie to the hard disk in the vob and ifo files formats?

No. We have other SDK, DVD authoring, currently in early alpha. It creates IFO files for DVD-Video content, would multiplex MPEG2 and AC3 video/audio streams and possibly change MPEG2 compression ratio (transcode). However we'll not release it even in beta earler then in summer. So if you need a soltion ASAP you'd better code it yourself (I've checked some of other companies special "transcode SDKs" and they seems to be far from stable...)
