hi,

i'm now a licensed user of starburn sdk(professional version), i found an issue in simplified chinese windows xp system.

when i burn a folder with chinese name, the burn process seems ok, but i can't open the burned folder in the dvd. this problem only occur with chinese folder, chinese file name works just fine.

to recur this issue:
1. run the program "C:\Program Files\Rocket Division Software\StarBurn SDK V10.5 Tomahawk\Bin\Samples\StarBurn Core\MSVC\DataBurner.exe"
2. use all default options in the wizard pages, and add "test_data"(provided in attachment) folder to the root of dvd
3. click "next" button, burn and wait, and finally close the program
4. reload the ejected drive, open "test_data" folder in dvd, double click the folder other than "test_chinese_file_name"
5. now we get a system message box, means about <letter>:\test_data\xxx refers to an unreachable location, blabla...

i'm so appreciate if the issue could be fix as soon as possible because it is about one of key traits of my application and the schedule is very tight.

the log file is provided too.

ani

1) You need to update to V12 as V10.5 is not supported any more.

2) You need to use UDF for full-blown Unicode support.
