Sorry, but....audio burning seems to suffer from the same problem (still)! Could you please fix that as well? And if possible, all other occurrences of this bug along with it.

Core wrapper was changed... Could you please forward the log of the audio burn with the failed speed setting? Thanks!

OK, according to the log 8468 KB/sec burning speed was selected... And what speed it SHOULD use? As I don't see swapped read & write values any more...

I selected 16x (so ~23xx).

So 16x was reported as supported and you've picked passed the value converted to 48x actually?

Yes, 16x was supported and I've checked in the debugger that the right value is assigned to the WriteSpeed property.

Still waiting for a fix. I consider the speed setting rather important for audio discs.
