When burning a DVD Starburn seems to use by default always the maximum possible speed.

How can I lower this speed (only for the current, next burn process and
not permanently for all future burning)?

Please use Expert Mode (click on 'Export Mode' button on toolbar).
In Expert mode setting burning speed is available.
