I have problem that this program RocketGrabAndBurn can't find device in my computer :( But this problem is only from user, when I'm log in like a root then it's ok.. I think this is problem with premissions, but in /dev my sr0 dvd cdrom have the same permissions for root and others. Please help me..

We have some bad news for you. Grab&Burn for Linux is discontinued and we neither allow it for the downloads directly nor support it any more. Sorry for this...

Tiny hint: try to run the software with the root rights to access DVDs :)

Hi, I wasn't sure exactly where to post this so I thought I'd piggyback onto this thread. I can't get starburn to recognize my dvd burner when I want to burn a dvd. When I want to burn audio or an image it recognizes my device right away. I'm very stupid when it comes to computers and software so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

When I click burn video it won't show that I have a burning device. The device list is blank. When I click burn audio it shows that I have a burning device.

DVD+-RW GSA-H21N

It has worked for me previously, but I had to reload starburn and it hasn't worked for me since. Please keep in mind that I am not very computer savvy. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

That's great! So, do I just need to download it again in a few days?

I am using Sartburn 9.1 and I have the same problem. When I try to burn video DVD SVCD or VCD, my recording device is not detected.

Same problem again I'm afraid. Using StarBurn 9.1 and it will show my burner when I choose data or audio but won't list it under Video: Burn DVD.

Device information:-

Vendor HL-DT-ST
Product DVDRAM GSA-H66N
Revision CB00

Hope you can sort this out as quickly as you did the others!

:O)

Ayaron
