I have used Starburn in the past to make blu ray data disks. I recently built a new computer, and when I attempt to add files to burn, the screen still shows that no files have been added.

I am using Starburn 9.5 (free), 4g ram, sony blu ray drive (IDE), XP w/sp2, q6600 cpu.

I was able to erase a BD-RE disk, but it just won't let me add files to burn. I select the files, choose OK, then none of those files appear in the list of files to burn.

I never had this issue with the version of Starburn I downloaded from Giveawayoftheday.com.

I downloaded the free version from this domain yesterday and installed.

1) Choose Burn Data
2) Select my blu ray drive
3) Select ISO9660 + Joliet UNICODE name exension
4) Not bootable disc
5) Select files to burn
6) No files are added and I cannot proceed

Thanks.

Update:

I wasn't able to add files larger than 4g no matter which file system I chose, but if I select something smaller, it adds the file without issue.

Am I missing something here? Is there a file size limitation? I have a 10g file (rar) and a 4g file (rar) that is a backup of my work files.

Edit:

I re-rar'd my work files to span with 2g files and all is well.

Hello,

Yes you are currently right, now we don't support UDF file system on disc, and for this reason we can't burn files more the 2GB. I think in next release UDF support will be added.
