Please take a moment helping us decide whether we need to provide SDK customers with the VCL wrapper for Borland Delphi...

Personally, I don't think it's necessary.

I think perryv is right... The file StarBurn.pas is ALL what you need for work with SDK...

My experience with two other burning engine show that the VCL-Components never fit my needs. I don't think it's useful to have a "invisible" burning engine wrapped into a visible component.
What would be more useful for beginners is to convert the pascal samples into real pascal. Now it seems like a very straight forward C translation which is hardly readable for a delphi developer. For that task it might be useful to create an extra unit which wraps some StarBurn-API-Calls into some with more pascal style (especially string handling).

Sounds like few people really need this stuff... OK, we'd concentrate on OCX wrapper instead :)

OK, so we'll be sticking with API-style Delphi programming for now :)
