Hi,

I'm looking for a solution which can record streaming data to dvd or cd. I'm working on a video capture application. Currently we build a mpeg file on disk. It however would be more interesting to write the data directly to dvd or cd. We want to keep working with our own compression engine. The resulting disc can be a pure data cd/dvd. Would it be possible to do this with the Starburn SDK? If yes, could you give me a hint where and how to start?

Many thanks
Thomas

It's not possible with the StarBurn SDK itself, however we have stripped down version of StarBurn (a bit different API, less features however highly portable - Win32, Linux, NT native & NT kernel). You'll be able to do what you want to do. Please drop me a message to anton@rocketdivison.com and we'll continue. As I don't think rest of this conversiation would be interesting to the rest of the guys :)

Hi Anton,

Sorry to ask, --ignore this message if it is just a busy time-- but did you get my email? The first mail was bounced, and I seem to get no reaction. Therefore this question.

Best regards,
Thomas
