Hi,

Thanks I am able to get it running in VS2010, .Net 4.0.
However I am not able to activate logging.
I read in this forum on logging and I am unable to do logging with these dlls,
(also I tried replacing StarBurn.dll from StarBurn Core\msvcrt\Debug\i386).

My registry reads as follows
DebugFacility 1 (also I tried with 2, 3)
DebugFileName C:\StarBurn.Log

(HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Rocket Division Software\StarBurn )

Please let me know how to enable debugging.

I try to burn a folder in harddisk to multiple drives (about 5) and StarBurn crashes (actually VC++ runtime) telling
"Vectors iterators incompatible". If I get Debugging working then I could get more information on this error.

Hello,

1) You should tune the DebugFacility and DebugFileName properties before you call the "Initialize" function;

2) I guess you should choose another path for your log file ... especially if your OS is Windows 7 :)

3) How do you try to burn data to multiple drives? Could you provide me the source code that shows your approach?

Regards,

Dmitry

Hi Dima,

Thanks for your quick reply!!
I got it,

sample code in C#
StarBurnX m_starBurnX = new StarBurnX();
m_starBurnX.DebugFacility = STARBURN_DEBUG_FACILITIES.STARBURN_DEBUG_FACILITY_FILE;
m_starBurnX.DebugFileName = "StarBurnLog.txt";
m_starBurnX.InitializeEx(String.Empty, TransportMode);

Could you confirm that in this version of StarBurn the registry setting is no longer used and logging could be set from code.
I spent quite some time with the registry, It could be useful for a beginner!

I will mail you my source code shortly to support@rocketdivision.com

Thanks

Hi Dmitry, Anton,

Thanks for the new version.
Yesterday I wrote you an email, which was bounced back to me, I guess by your anti spam..
The new version seems to run well.. I am doing more tests and will get back to you soon.
