Hi All at Starburn Support,
Could you please point me in the right direction. I'm a newby to Starburn SDK and wondered if
there is a specific documentation exists that steps through the implementation of the data burning
process. I've looked at the sample for vb6. Is there a documentation that provides a list of
processes that should be done especially when recording to DVD+R Dual Layer.

Your response would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

"Dual-Layer" burning doesn't request additional steps! Follow through all steps from our example! :)

Thank you Dmitry,

When you say follow through all steps from you example, are you refering to the DataBurn
sample for VB6. I feel that this is somewhat incomplete. I don't see any process involving checking
to see what media is in the dvd drive, capability to import previous session from a disc.
What I meant by documentation is one that explains and lists the steps required for anyone to
reproduce the functionality within your own application. Are we meant to combine the DataBurner with
the other example - DiscInfo, DiscEraser - to achive this ?

Regards
Zoltan

You don't need to check for anything. StarBurn isolates media type completely (Well... Mostly). To import existing content you just need to set import property to TRUE.
