Hello Support,

Can we Abort or cancel disc finalization process?
In current samples it is not present, but I think there should be an option to Abort the verification process.

Thank you in advance.

You can issue Eject(...) from the other thread as close is quite often sync operation (command cannot be aborted by the drive). As a result you'll have coaster instead of the disc and more or less driven crazy system.

Hello Support,

Thank you for reply.
While reading the reply. I came to know that I mixed 2 different questions in the query. Those questions are as follows :
1) Can we abort disc verification process ?
2) Can we abort disc finalization process ?

I guess as per your reply these processes are handled by drive and can not be aborted if in progress. Is that so?

The solution suggested is good. I will try that but will that have any unwanted effects on disc(i.e. disc unusable or unreadble). Logically I think aborting disc verification is OK, but aborting disc finalization process will leave disc appendable. Am I right ?

1) I'm not sure we have this exported but in any case it's not a problem to add. Cancel verification process.

2) Unfortunately there's no way to cancel disc finalization reliably...
